BASIC PACKAGE & EQUIPMENT ON OUR CHARTER YACHTS IN CROATIA

Our charter yachts in Croatia come equipped with comprehensive navigation, safety, deck and galley equipment. The basic package also includes several services that you can factor directly into your sailing holiday.

These include 50 GB of LTE internet per week, freshly made beds, final cleaning, two gas bottles and early check in. On this page, you will also find the standard onboard inventory and the consumables you should bring with you.

Included in the basic package

  • 50 GB of LTE internet per week on every yacht
  • Dinghy with oars and pump
  • Freshly made beds for the number of guests stated in the contract
  • Final cleaning and a starter set of cleaning supplies
  • Two gas bottles for the galley
  • Check in from 4 pm at no extra charge

What is included in the basic package

Several services and onboard features are already included in the basic package on our Croatia yachts. These include internet on board, a dinghy, bed linen and final cleaning, along with other practical extras for your charter holiday.

  • 50 GB LTE internet: Every yacht includes 50 GB of LTE internet per week at no extra charge. Additional data can be booked if required.
  • Dinghy: All yachts carry a dinghy on board. Oars and a pump are included as well.
  • Outboard engine: An outboard engine for the dinghy can be booked as an optional extra.
  • Bed linen and freshly made beds: The beds are made up for the number of guests stated in the charter contract. Bed linen is included at no extra cost.
  • Final cleaning: Final cleaning is included in your booking. A starter set of cleaning supplies is also provided for your trip.
  • Gas for the galley: Every yacht is supplied with two gas bottles so the gas cooker in the galley can be used throughout your holiday.
  • Check in: Check in at our bases is available from 4 pm at no extra charge. Yachts must be returned by 9:00 am on Saturdays.
  • Diesel heating: All yachts are equipped with diesel heating.
  • MySea: The yachts are registered with MySea. This allows you to search for and reserve available berths, among other features, and also take advantage of offers for Kornati tickets.

Navigation, charts and radio on board

For navigation and passage planning, our Croatia yachts are equipped with both electronic and traditional navigation instruments, along with a selection of nautical charts and pilot books.

Charts and navigation

  • Nautical charts for Croatia: On board you will find the Imray charts M24, M25 and M26, the pilot book “888 Harbours and Bays”, and the Delius Klasing chart packs 7 and 8.
  • Electronic navigation: Standard equipment includes a colour chartplotter, autopilot, wind instruments, speed log and echo sounder.
  • Traditional navigation: Also provided are an illuminated steering compass, binoculars, hand bearing compass, dividers, course calculator, two navigation triangles, barometer and clock.

VHF radio

All yachts are equipped with a DSC capable VHF radio.


Safety and deck equipment

The standard equipment on our Croatia yachts includes a comprehensive range of lifesaving and safety gear, as well as the deck equipment needed for normal onboard operations.

Safety equipment on all yachts

  • Lifesaving and signalling equipment: Liferaft, emergency strobe light, handheld searchlight, foghorn, flare pack, first aid kit, and a lifebuoy with floating line.
  • Additional safety equipment: Bilge pumps and fire extinguishers.
  • Automatic life jackets: Automatic life jackets with integrated lifebelts are provided for the maximum permitted number of guests.

Deck equipment on all yachts

  • Guardrails: Pulpit and pushpit, plus double guardrails.
  • Anchoring: Main anchor with 50 metres of chain and a second anchor with leaded anchor line.
  • Mooring: Six to eight fenders, four mooring lines and a 25 metre towing line.
  • Deck work: Boat hook and deck brush.
  • Lighting: Navigation lights, steaming light and anchor light.
  • Additional equipment: A bucket is also carried on board.

Additional deck equipment on sailing yachts

The standard sailing specific equipment also includes the following items:

  • Sails: Furling genoa or furling jib.
  • Cockpit protection: Sprayhood and bimini.
  • Deck equipment: Two sheet winches and bolt cutters for the rigging.

Galley, power supply and additional onboard equipment

For cooking, water supply, electrical power and everyday life on board, our Croatia yachts are fitted with the necessary onboard systems and household equipment.

Galley

  • Cooking and cooling: Two or three burner gas cooker, oven, and either an electric cool box or refrigerator.
  • Water supply: Pressurised water system with outlets in the galley and heads, plus a sink in the galley.
  • Kitchen equipment: Crockery, cutlery, coffee filter, pots, pans, kettle, vacuum flasks and other household utensils.

Power, charging and onboard systems

  • Power supply: 12 V and 230 V converter, 230 V and 12 V sockets, and an automatic 230 V battery charger.
  • Shore power connection: 25 metre shore power cable and adapter cable.
  • Anchor windlass: An electric anchor windlass is fitted.

Comfort and additional equipment on all yachts

  • Hot water: A hot water supply is available.
  • Onboard equipment: Cabin lighting, safe, toolbox and bosun’s chair.
  • Flags and keys: National flag, N and C flags, plus yacht and engine keys.
  • Audio: Radio with AUX/Bluetooth and speakers.
  • Heating: All yachts are equipped with diesel heating.
Before you set sail

Please bring these consumables with you

For hygiene reasons, some consumable items are not routinely provided on board. Please include these items in your first shop for the trip.

Cloths and washing up liquid

Please plan to bring your own for cleaning and washing up.

Tea towels

Please bring your own tea towels for the galley.

Toilet paper

Toilet paper is not part of the standard onboard equipment.

Salt and pepper

Please bring basic seasonings such as salt and pepper, or buy them locally.

FAQ about equipment on charter yachts in Mallorca

What is included in the basic package on the Mallorca yachts?

The basic package includes mobile internet access via SurfSpot, a dinghy with outboard engine, oars and pump, freshly made beds with bed linen for the number of guests stated in the contract, final cleaning with a cleaning pack, and two gas bottles for the galley.

Is there internet on board the charter yachts in Mallorca?

Yes. Mobile internet access is available on board via SurfSpot. Using this onboard connection does not incur any additional roaming charges from your own mobile provider.

Are the dinghy and outboard engine included in the basic package?

Yes. All Mallorca yachts come with a dinghy and an outboard engine on board. Oars and a pump are included as well.

Which charts and navigation instruments are available on board?

On board you will find Delius Klasing chart pack 9 for the Balearic Islands, including a companion booklet with cruising information, waypoint list, symbol guide, harbour plans, harbour photographs and harbour information. Navigation equipment also includes a chartplotter, autopilot, wind instruments, electronic speed log, echo sounder, illuminated steering compass, binoculars, dividers, course calculator, two navigation triangles and a clock.

What safety equipment is included as standard?

The standard safety equipment includes an EPIRB, liferaft, emergency strobe light, handheld searchlight, foghorn, flare pack, first aid kit, bilge pumps, fire extinguishers and a lifebuoy with floating line. Automatic life jackets with integrated lifebelts are provided for the maximum permitted number of guests. The life jackets described in the equipment list do not have crotch straps.

What deck equipment is provided on the Mallorca yachts?

Deck equipment includes, among other items, a furling genoa or furling jib, sprayhood, bimini, pulpit and pushpit, double guardrails, navigation lights, steaming light, anchor light, main anchor with 50 metres of chain, second anchor with rope, six to eight fenders, four mooring lines, a 25 metre towing line, boat hook, deck brush, two sheet winches and bolt cutters for the rigging.

How is the galley equipped?

The galley includes a two or three burner gas cooker, oven, electric cool box or refrigerator, pressurised water system and sink. Crockery, cutlery, coffee filter, pots, pans, kettle, vacuum flasks and other household utensils are on board. Two gas bottles are included in the basic package.

What should I bring with me for the trip?

Cloths, tea towels, toilet paper, washing up liquid, salt and pepper are not routinely provided on board for hygiene reasons. You should bring these items with you or buy them before setting sail.
