Die „Bambi“ ist ein echter Adria-Traum, weil sie euch unglaublich viel Platz bietet und sich dabei trotzdem angenehm leicht steuern lässt. Besonders die starke Ausstattung mit Bugstrahlruder, großem Wassertank und Heizung in allen Kabinen macht das Chartern in Kroatien super entspannt. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Mit ihrer Größe braucht ihr manchmal etwas mehr Raum im Hafen – aber dafür genießt ihr an Bord puren Komfort.

Die Bambi wurde von einem Konstruktur designet, der viel Wellness untergebracht hat aber noch nicht selbst gesegelt ist. Die Winschen für Vor- und Großsegel sind so nah beiander, dass man Platzprobleme bekommt zumal der Rudergänger ja auch in der Nähe vom Steuerrad Platz finden sollte. Die Klemme für die Vorsegel sind zu klein und halten nicht zuverlässig und sind einen Meter von der Winsch entfernt. Die Winsch für das Großsegel ist zu schwach, bei Windstärke 5 bekommt man das Großsegeln nicht dicht von Halbwind- auf Amwindkurs....

Aufteilung der Toiletten ist nicht durchdacht...

Wir haben eine Kajüte als Stauraum nutzen müssen...

Positiv, tolle Liege im Cockpit, wahnsinns starker Motot (110 PS), 2 Kühlschränke

Notizen zum Segeltörn mit der Beneteau Oceanis 51.1 Bambi (11.06.2022 bis 01.07.2022)

Die Yacht segelt bei leichtem Wind etwas leegierig; ab ca. 4 Bft verschwindet diese und allmählich nimmt die Luvgierigkeit dann angenehm zu.

Die hohe Stabilität wirkt vertrauensbildend, die Doppel-Ruderanlage vermittelt ein gutes Steuergefühl, man braucht allerdings immer Fahrt durchs Wasser, damit die Ruderblätter wirken können.

Die Yacht hat einen Wellenantrieb, Propellerdrehrichtung links, daher zeigt sie einen Radeffekt beim Vorwärts-Losfahren nach Bb, beim Rückwärts-Losfahren nach Stb.

Die Rollgenua und das Rollgroß werden manuell bedient. Die insgesamt vier Winschen sind schlecht positioniert, wegen des Biminis ist es schwer, beim Winschen die Segel zu beobachten.

Das B&G Zeus Navigationssystem, leider noch ohne AIS, funktioniert mit Touch- und Knopf-Bedienung erwartungsgemäß gut.

Das Funkgerät unter dem Kartentisch ist ungünstig angebracht, es wirkt wie ein Notbehelf (Lieferschwierigkeiten AIS), aber es funktioniert technisch tadellos.

Das Raumangebot ist überall luxuriös, die drei elektrischen Toiletten funktionieren richtig gut und sind nicht allzu laut.

Das Duschen an Bord macht mit den 770 Liter Wassertanks richtig Spaß und ist dank der Fäkalientanks angenehmer als im Hafen mit dem dortigen Münzeinwurf.

Mängel:

1. Kein AIS eingebaut.

2. Nachtfahrten sind problematisch, da Verklicker nicht beleuchtet ist und der Kartentisch kein Rotlicht hat.

3. Nur 12V-USB-Buchsen, der Anschluss für 12V Zigarettenanzünder-Stecker fehlt: Suchscheinwerfer und Zusatzleuchten >12m können nicht genutzt werden.

4. Türen der Vorschiffskabinen bleiben bei Lage nicht geschlossen.

Was der Name verheimlicht, die Bambi ist ein riesiges und äußerst komfortables Schiff. 8 Personen finden sowohl im Salon als auch an Deck ausreichend Platz bei den Mahlzeiten. Trotz der gewaltigen Abmaße lässt es sich auch im Hafen sicher manövrieren. Wobei man einige Manöver üben sollte, da z.B. Eindampfen durch die fehlende Anströmung der 2 Ruder nur eingeschränkt funktioniert. Das Schiff ist aufgrund der Verdrängung kein Leichtwindsegler, hier hilft aber der optionale Gennaker als zusätzlicher Antrieb bei Schwachwind. Bei ausreichend Wind geht es flott zu Sache, 9kn sind schnell erreicht. Hier macht sich die lange Wasserlinie bemerkbar. Dabei wird der Vortrieb hauptsächlich von der Genua erbracht, das Rollgross ist konstruktionsbedingt nicht wirklich hilfreich. Hier fehlt einfach der richtige Schnitt…mit einem Lattensegel wäre das sicher ein Racer. Das Schiff lässt sich auch bei Starkwind und Welle immer sicher steuern. Der Clou ist das durchgehende, aber klappbare Bimini: man kann sich auch bei richtigem Schietwetter ( und davon hatten wir einige Stunden) mit der gesamten Crew im Cockpit aufhalten, ohne nass zu werden.

In den Häfen muss man bei fast 5m Breite schon etwas suchen, was in der Saison mglw. ein Problem werden könnte, besser vorher informieren und die Häfen anfunken.

Alles in allem ein top gepflegtes und großzügig ausgestattetes Schiff für einen sehr erholsamen Segeltörn.

Die Vorbereitung und die Betreuung durch das Team der Charterbasis Heiligenhafen war wie immer vorbildlich, und hebt sich merklich von anderen Firmen ab. Kommen gern wieder.
