Die Sun Odyssey 380 „Leo“ segelt dank ihrem 2-Meter-Kiel stabil und macht ordentlich Höhe am Wind. Die großzügige Eignerkabine im Vorschiff bietet richtig viel Platz zum Relaxen nach dem Segeln. Mit dem tiefen Kiel müsst ihr in flachen Buchten zwar etwas aufpassen – lohnt sich aber für die starke Performance!

Mit der „Leon“ bekommen Sie einen Katamaran, der dank neuer Motoren und Segel richtig kraftvoll unterwegs ist und sich dabei herrlich ruhig in der Welle verhält. Das riesige Cockpit und die Chaise-Lounge laden zu langen Abenden unter dem Sternenhimmel ein. Nur bei sehr sportlichem Segeln ist die große Genua etwas fordernder – aber genau das macht den Reiz aus.

gerade zurück, möchte ich über die LEON in Split und die vor Ort CREW ( Goran und sein Team) berichten.

Angekommen in der Marina Frapa sind wir sehr schnell und unkompliziert auf das Schiff gekommen. Die Übergabe war unter dem Aspekt Vertrauen geschehen und der freundliche Mitarbeiter für jegliche Frage an unserer Seite.

Eine Woche Segeln, mit der Familie (das erste mal) kann ich mit der Leon nur empfehlen.

Sicherlich ist "Segeln" mit einem Kat nicht unbedingt "Segeln" aber bei 18 Knoten Wind, 8,7 Knoten Fahrt ........., ich finde das geht :-)

Nochmal zur Leon..... Wir haben diese in einem tadellosen Zustand übernommen, würde sofort wieder das gleiche tun. DANKE AN GORAN ! der mit Sicherheit ein Stück dazu beiträgt das Schiff in dem Zustand zu halten.

Zu 1.Klasse Yachten (Charterzentrum Heiligenhafen)...... Ihr macht eine Gute Arbeit !

Wir waren mit Leo zwei Wochen zu zweit unterwegs. Ein sehr schönes Boot, geräumig, er lässt sich super easy segeln und hat viel Spaß gemacht. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über die elektr. Winsch an Backbord, womit zumindest das Reinholen von Groß und Genua kraftsparend auf Knopfdruck geht. Wir werden alle nicht jünger- für uns war das enorm nützlich. Und das Boot hat - das sieht man auf den Yachtfotos/Werftbild nicht- ein großes Solarpaneel über dem Heck, so konnten wir auch an langen Segeltagen Geräte laden und den Kühlschrank bedenkenlos laufen lassen. Auch schön: ein Flaschenzug an der Badeplattform, sodass eine Person die locker alleine hoch und runterbekommt. Das ist so simpel, dass wir uns fragen, warum das nicht alle Boote haben, die nicht mit elektr. Plattform ausgestattet sind.

Was uns nicht gefallen hat: Der Anker bewegt sich nicht ohne Fußtritt aus seiner Schiene und um den Tritt zu geben, muss ich ganz vor auf das lange Bugspriet. Finden wir suboptimal. Und beim Liegen an einer Boje passiert es, dass beim schwojen die Schoten am Anker hängenbleiben oder dauerreiben. Meist kann man ja nur eine Leine im Ring unter der Boje festmachen und wir haben uns angewöhnt, immer eine zweite Leine zu nutzen. Die geht dann aber nur oben durch und diese Schot leidet dann definitiv. Zweiter negativer Punkt, besonders wenn man für mehrere Wochen proviantiert: Der (große) Korb im (tiefen) Kühlschrank hängt nicht auf einer Leiste, sondern steht direkt auf dem Boden, d.h. bei Befüllung steht er zwangsläufig auf den Lebensmitteln am Boden. Das geht gut, solange dort viele gleichgroße Dosen stehen, aber spätestens wenn der Biervorrat zur Neige geht, wirds mega unpraktisch. So ein Korb MUSS hängen und zwei kleine Körbe wären besser als ein großer. Vielleicht lässt sich das ja nachrüsten.
